Towering cliffs (up to 250 meters!), hidden terraces, once cultivated with wheat and legumes, dry stone walls, fossils in every stone.
From Finalborgo, climb up the ancient road that leads to the Fort of St. John and then to Castel Govone, continuing on to the ancient parish church of Perti. From here, we will enter a suspended valley where a steep mule track will take us to the ridge between Montesordo and Bric Scimarco. Following it is a real journey through history: gigantic caves, deep grottos, Neanderthals and Sapiens, Byzantine fortifications, oracles, and ancient abandoned churches.
Once you have descended the mule track through creuze, vineyards, and cultivated fields, you will quickly return to Finalborgo.
