Weekend in the Finale area: from Finalborgo to Borgio Verezzi

From Finalborgo to Borgio Verezzi

April 19

The wild Finale area

Leave the walls of Finalborgo behind and climb up to the Caprazoppa promontory, home to one of Europe's most important archaeological sites: the Grotta delle Arene Candide.

Passing ancient quarries, among stones inlaid with fossils, you reach the Saracen-style village of Verezzi, a precious balcony overlooking the coast. From here, among vegetable gardens and citrus trees, you descend gently to Borgio, where our journey ends.

Return to Finale by train/car (depending on the group).
