At Colle della Mologna Piccola, following the ancient trade routes

We will retrace ancient trails that for centuries were the only routes for those crossing these mountains and for goods transported from one valley to another. From the Aosta Valley side, we will then reach the Mologna Piccola Pass, a historic link between the Lys Valley and the Cervo Valley, where we can look out over the Piedmontese valley… the one we explored and cleared together last May.

Excursion details:

‍· Departure: Niel (AO)

· Difficulty: Distance: 7 km round trip, elevation gain: 670 m

· Meeting point: Meet at 9:30 a.m. in Niel (here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/8ASzbXGi4uA2UmR56)

·   Return to the cars: Around 4 p.m.

Required equipment: technical layered hiking clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, hat, sunglasses. In your backpack: spare T-shirt, sunscreen, rain jacket, water bottle, packed lunch.
